GoW trailers have a knack for choosing the right music to set the right mood. Mixing great action with a thought provoking story & individual character struggles, Gears of War is more than just a kill ‘em all-action-shooter. (although it can be if you want it)
Having finally gotten around to finishing Gears of War 2 – we were extremely excited when the Gears of War 3 trailer was released this month. Although we’re definitely not happy that it’s said to be the last in the trilogy…
The music was eerily soothing and disturbing at the same time. Always in search of new tracks to play in the office we whipped out the iPhone to analyze the song in the latest Trailer. The always handy Shazam app identified Sun Kil Moon as the artist. Here’s the trailer followed by the full track and fan video.
